Frequently asked questions

Can I get a refund?

You cannot get refunds for:

  • Books
  • E-books
  • Subscription products

However, if you buy a course and are not happy, then ask for a refund within 1 week, and you will get a refund. Please be patient for processing the refund because at this moment it needs to be done by myself manually.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Log in to your account at Payhip-store.

In your account, click the “Subscriptions” tab.

Then click on Cancel or Stop subscription.

Automatic payments will stop, and you will lose instant access to the guitar course.

I am a beginner. Am I good enough for the course?

Absolutely, my course is specialized for beginners. You should sign up for the apprentice volume. 1. From there, you can take it to the next level after you complete the course. (Volume 2 and then volume 3.)

I don't have a guitar. Can I still start?

Yes, technically you could still sign up, but it doesn't make much sense to sign up if you do not have a guitar.

Do I need an expensive guitar?

Absolutely not! However, your guitar must:

  • Stay reasonably in tune.
  • Have decent intonation.
  • Have little or preferably no fret buzz at all
  • Decent setup. (intonation, truss rod, action, decent strings, etc.)

Roughly 100 US$ can go a long way.

My hands/fingers are too long, short, thick, or thin. Can I still learn guitar?

Absolutely, you might have a preference for a wider neck at some point, but do not worry. You should be able to have fun.

I am not musical; what's the point?

Believe it or not. Being musical is not enough for mastering the guitar. You would be surprised how much you can accomplish with perfect practice.

Am I too old or young to learn guitar?

Too old? Absolutely not. However, age does have an influence. It is harder to learn when you are older, but it doesn't mean that it's impossible.

Too young? Depends, I have a children's guitar course, but that's suitable for ages 8-12 years old. Younger might be possible, but my courses are not suitable for that age range.

Will you make me a rock star?

Probably not, especially if people promise you those results. I would be very suspicious. It's important to remember that being a rock star is not always a glamorous life. I recommend you do some research on why rock stars are drugged, isolated, and depressed.

Is the guitar the most difficult instrument?

It can be, but it certainly doesn't have to be. The violin is much harder because the guitar has frets and a more comfortable angle to look at the neck. There are difficult and easy songs to learn on guitar. You would be pleasantly surprised to learn that sometimes fun songs are a lot easier than you might think. Sometimes, popular songs consists of only a few chords and BAM! You got a whole song nailed without complicated Jazz chord progressions.

Why should I choose your courses? I could go to a local music school.

There are downsides and benefits to both approaches. Learning online:

  • Saves you time; you do not have to get out of the house.
  • Private lessons can be very expensive.
  • Not every guitar instructor is pleasant to be around. You can feel safe and comfortable at home if you prefer not to be around people when learning.
  • Not every guitar instructor is excellent.
  • Online courses provide a clear structure from beginning till end.

However, to get the best results, I recommend getting video feedback or lessons from an online instructor that knows my program. At this moment I do not have one, but stay tuned as I am looking for one to help you with my courses.

I need some help with a private lesson. Do you accept students online for lessons? (whatsapp or teams.)

I do not have time to teach online, but your request can be fulfilled in the future. I am going to team up with at least one guitar instructor to provide additional help for students to provide video feedback by reviewing your recordings or teaching online with a webcam.
