Hi! We’re Abdellah and Agnieszka, the couple behind these Darija lessons.

Abdullah is Moroccan and is the teacher — and the face (or many faces!) you see in our videos. He studied theatre in Morocco, which is why our lessons often include different characters, everyday situations and a little bit of acting. His goal is to teach you Darija as it is actually spoken in Morocco: natural, practical and full of real-life expressions.

Agnieszka is Polish and graduated in Arabic Studies in Italy. She works behind the scenes on the lessons, translations, subtitles, editing and learning materials, helping make Darija clear and accessible to learners from different backgrounds.

Together, we combine native Moroccan Darija, language knowledge and creativity to create videos, online lessons and study materials that make learning feel practical and enjoyable.

We believe the best way to learn Darija is not simply to memorize vocabulary, but to hear it in context, understand how it works and start using it in real situations.
