Dead Prairies Productions creates low-budget horror films, horror-related events in Swift Current, and donates all the proceeds to the Swift Current SPCA. We also bring back classic horror movies at the Lyceum Theatre in Gull Lake. We donate the proceeds from the classic horror movie to the theatre as it is a non-profit volunteer-run organization.

We have raised $34,910 for the Swift Current SPCA from our films, merchandise, and events. We have also raised over $10,000 for the SWT Lyceum Theatre by bringing back classic horror movies to the big screen, a horror-themed escape room, and Jaws at the Pool.
