I'm Leanne, a former commercial fisherman, captain, and storyteller who spent more than a decade making a living on the Pacific.

Dead Reckoning is where I tell the stories that came from those years—the storms, close calls, brutal days, incredible moments, strange things we saw offshore, and the reality of working in a world most people will never experience.

These aren’t stories I researched. I lived them.

Commercial fishing taught me that the ocean can be breathtaking one minute and absolutely merciless the next. It taught me about fear, survival, loss, resilience, and what people are capable of when there’s nowhere to go but through it.

Now I’m bringing those stories ashore.
