About Me

Stephen Michael McQueen is an educator, author, public speaker, Founder of the Decision Engine™ Ecosystem, and creator of The Decision Income Engine System™—an integrated methodology designed to help individuals and organizations make more disciplined, transparent, evidence-informed, and defensible income decisions.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Primary Education, graduating cum laude, and a Teaching Certificate in Primary Education from Southern College. These credentials support his professional work in teaching, critical thinking, communication, and practical problem-solving.

Stephen is the self-published author of You Can, I Know You Can!, recognized as a finalist in the 2006 USA Best Books Awards. In 2017, he authored the children's book When I Was Little and, while serving as an English Language and Speech Instructor at the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI), guided one class of students—divided into two publishing teams—through the collaborative authoring and publication of two books, giving aspiring authors practical experience in the publication process.

His professional experience includes education, public speaking, communication, leadership, curriculum and learning-resource development, and the creation of structured decision-making methodologies. He has served as an English Language and Speech Instructor, Editorial Board Member, and Generalist Teacher. Through these roles, he has developed lessons, publications, and practical learning experiences designed to strengthen critical thinking, effective communication, and real-world problem-solving.

Stephen has twice served as a Judge for practical diplomatic examinations conducted by the Alrae Ramsey Institute in collaboration with the Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including service as Senior Judge (Chief Judge). In that capacity, he helped assess the analytical reasoning, communication, diplomacy, and decision-making abilities of prospective Foreign Affairs diplomats for The Bahamas under simulated diplomatic conditions.

Stephen became convinced that many costly mistakes—his own and those of others—could often have been reduced through a more disciplined approach to decision-making. Drawing upon years of teaching, leadership, structured evaluation, multidisciplinary study, and practical experience, that conviction ultimately led him to develop The Decision Income Engine System™—a practical methodology designed to help individuals and organizations evaluate income opportunities more carefully, make more disciplined decisions, and continue improving those decisions over time.

Stephen believes that disciplined decision-making increases the likelihood of better outcomes. This conviction is reflected in the philosophy that has come to define his work:

Better Decisions. Better Outcomes. Better Lives.
