ABOUT THE AUTHOR

There are stories people write to entertain, and then there are stories written to break open a reality and put it back together stronger. I Got Me belongs entirely to the latter.

Denise Dodge is a writer, student, podcaster, and lifelong seeker who understands survival not as a quiet endurance, but as an active, unyielding reclamation of self. Her journey is a masterclass in radical self-reliance. Born into a labyrinth of hidden wounds, generational chaos, and profound early displacement, Denise spent decades navigating the architecture of institutional and domestic dysfunction by peeling back the layers of stolen origins, systemic neglect, and the arduous excavation required to find her own footing.

Rather than letting those crucibles define her limits, she turned them into a forge. Over a decade of rigorous internal work, deep trauma resolution, and relentless academic and spiritual study, spanning esoteric philosophy, ancient texts, and psychological sovereignty, she dismantled the cages built by circumstance.

Today, Denise stands fully on the other side of the mountain. Through her writing, her upcoming memoir I Got Me, and her work with Liberated Living, she cuts straight through the noise with uncompromising honesty, grit, and fierce clarity. She doesn't offer superficial comfort; she offers a roadmap for anyone ready to stop outsourcing their rescue, face their own shadows, and realize that when the world cracks open, you are the only one who can put the pieces back together.
