Hi, I’m Shyanna — wife, ministry leader, and an intercessor.

For years, I tried to run from the very thing God was calling me into.

Intercession.

I knew there was a deeper call on my life to pray, to stand in the gap, to carry people before God, and to seek Him—not just for myself, but for others. But for a long time, I wrestled with that call. I tried to quiet it, avoid it, and convince myself that I could do something else.

But God kept drawing me back.

And eventually, I realized that what I had been trying to run from was actually part of what He was calling me to walk in.

As a pastor’s wife and a woman who has experienced the process of surrendering to God’s call, I’ve learned that prayer isn’t simply something we do when we need something from God.

Prayer is relationship.

Prayer is surrender.

Prayer is obedience.

Prayer is intercession.

Desire Prayer Co. was born from that journey.

It is a place created to encourage people to develop a deeper prayer life, discover the power of intercession, grow in their relationship with God, and become more intentional about seeking Him.

My heart is especially for the person who knows there is more to their prayer life but doesn’t know where to begin.

The person who wants to pray but struggles to find the words.

The person who feels called to intercede but doesn’t understand what that looks like.

The person who has been running from something God has been calling them toward.

And the person who simply wants to know God more deeply.

Through prayer resources, teaching, coaching, and faith-centered gatherings, Desire Prayer Co. exists to create spaces where people can seek God, learn to pray, grow in faith, and walk boldly in what He has called them to do.

I don’t believe you have to have it all figured out before you begin.

I know that because I had to learn how to stop running and start surrendering.

And now, my prayer is that what God has taught me along the way can help someone else find the courage to say:

“Yes, Lord. Teach me to pray.”
