Dr Bart Hallmark CEng CSci MIChemE SFHEA is a graduate of the University of Cambridge, UK, and worked as a lecturer and senior lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge up until August 2021. He lectured extensively on the undergraduate course and led process design education between 2008 and 2021. He also ventured out into the real world from time to time and did stints of work in ICI Chemicals and Polymers and BP.

During the 2020 Covid pandemic, he set up a YouTube channel, Dr Bart’s Lectures to provide online teaching resources to the University of Cambridge, which has now gained a significant following worldwide. Outside of his work, Bart can be found riding bicycles, motorbikes, trying to get up and down mountains on skis and lying underneath an ancient Land Rover getting mostly covered in oil!
