About Me

Dr. Marilyn Weekes received her Doctor of Ministry and Master of Divinity degree (magna cum laude) in Urban & Women Ministries from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts. She also served there as a Boston campus operations and facilities administrator and as a fully vetted Adjunct Professor. She is most known for her graduate courses in ”Mentored Ministry” and “Introduction to Preaching: Women Called to Preach.” She has developed, taught courses or webinars on Inner Healing, Deliverance & Spiritual Warfare, the Life of Christ & the Work of the Holy Spirit in Bible Institutes and churches in the Greater Boston-Cambridge area and beyond. She co-founded a church ministry in the urban core of Boston and later pastored in Cambridge. She was a longstanding member of the Executive Board of the Cambridge Black Pastors Alliance.


Dr. Marilyn presently serves as Overseer of the College of Prophets at the Global Institute for Church & Marketplace Prophets (GICMP).


She’s has been blessed to preach, teach and minister in Kenya, Africa; Great Britain & in Trinidad-Tobago and Jamaica, West Indies.


Dr Marilyn earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from Wheaton College, Massachusetts and a Certificate of Completion from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (M.I.T.s) Executive Education Program. She has a number of professional certificates, including as a Certified Christian Leadership & Professional Coach.


Dr. Marilyn is highly relatable to her constituents because of her 30+ years of varied experiences in the Financial Services arena, from a bank examiner with the Treasury Department’s Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to senior auditor, then Check Adjustments Manager and finally Bank official at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
