About Dr. Paul Campbell

Hello and welcome! 👋 I am Dr. Paul Campbell, an author born in 1971 who has always been fascinated by how the past informs the present. 🕰️

I view writing much like I view my 23 years of experience as an unpaid carer: it requires patience, deep empathy, and the ability to see the things that others might overlook. 🔍 Just as a carer listens to the unspoken needs of a loved one, a writer must listen to the whispers of their characters to tell a true story.

When I am not writing twists on classic folklore or exploring new worlds, you can find me indulging in my other passions: technology 💻, history 📜, and transport 🚂. I believe in the independent spirit of the internet—the way it used to be—which is why I’ve set up shop here on PayHip, directly connecting with you, the reader.

Thank you for stopping by and supporting independent creativity! 🌈
