Dr. Tiffany Ruiz Dasilva is a veterinarian with extensive experience in pet nutrition and functional supplementation. She graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests focus on how nutrition and targeted supplementation influence longevity, mobility, behavior, and the human–animal bond. Dr. Ruiz is certified in acupuncture for pets, which allows her to approach mobility and health issues holistically. Additionally, she has spent years working in the pet food and supplement industry, including consulting for several companies on formulation, product development, and evidence-based nutrition. She currently serves as Chief Veterinary Officer for a fresh pet food company and sits on the expert advisory board for a supplement company. She is a strong advocate for science-driven, responsibly formulated supplements that complement a complete diet to support the body and help prevent disease. Dr. Ruiz is also the author of Speaking Dog is My Superpower, a children’s book that promotes safe and compassionate interactions between children and dogs through education on canine body language.
