About Me
My journey into nutrition coaching began with my own transformation after having my second child in 2017 at the age of 35. With two very young kids under two, I joined a Crossfit class initially to lose weight and find a moment of respite from the stresses of motherhood. Having never done any strength-based sport, I fell in love with Crossfit from day one. My mindset shifted from weight loss goals to strength and skill-based goals like bar and ring muscle-ups, toes-to-bar, and pull-ups. The focus was less about how I looked and more about what I could achieve in terms of strength and skill.
Over the years, I built a foundation of strength and achieved my initial goal of doing a single strict pull-up. This progress fueled my determination, and throughout the years, I worked hard to build a solid foundation of strength and skills. At the age of 42, I can front squat over 100kg, have mastered advanced gymnastics skills such as bar and ring muscle-ups, and ranked in the 96th percentile globally for my age group in the Crossfit Open in 2023. I transformed into the strongest and fittest version of myself in my late 30s, all while raising two young children.
Throughout this journey, I discovered the profound impact that nutrition had on my performance and overall well-being. This realization sparked a passion for learning about nutrition, and in 2020, I changed career paths entirely. I gave up my office job and set out to educate myself in the field of nutrition. I completed the Sports and Exercise Nutrition Level 1 Certification in 2020, in addition to becoming a Les Mills Body Pump Instructor. In 2021, I started a degree in Sports Science with a major in Nutrition Bioscience, and in 2025, I plan to complete a Master's in Dietetics and Nutrition.
I am living proof that it's never too late to embark on a transformative journey, and I am committed to empowering others to become their strongest, healthiest selves.
