I'm a teacher, a parent of three, and someone who thinks a lot about how our kids are really doing — not just academically, but emotionally.

Every day in my classroom I see children who are brilliant, creative, and full of potential — but who struggle to believe in themselves, speak up, handle big feelings, or bounce back when things go wrong. And every evening at home, I see the same thing with my own kids.

That gap — between how amazing our children actually are and how they see themselves — is what pushed me to create The You Are Awesome Quest.

I wanted something that felt like a game, not a lesson. Something that made a South African child feel seen. Something that built real skills without a single lecture.

This isn't just a product. It's something I made for the kids in my class, my three children, and every young person in Mzansi who needs to hear — clearly and loudly — that they are enough, they are capable, and they are awesome.
