Your a licensed therapist, so why coaching/consults?
As a professional who has worked across child development, early intervention, and formal therapy, I know that in the early years, therapy isn’t always the answer. Sometimes, dedicated parent coaching/consults can create powerful, proactive change and can even be preventative for struggles down the line.
I created this space to serve the gap between “I don’t need therapy” and “a little support & guidance would really help.” The early years are beautiful, exhausting, emotional, and overwhelming and no parent should have to navigate them alone.
Parent consults are also available virtually to families anywhere, while my therapy services are limited to California residents due to my LMFT license.

What is the difference between consults and therapy?
Parent consults offer guidance, education, and support, it is not therapy nor a replacement for mental health treatment. I do not assess for, diagnose or treat mental health conditions during coaching. If deeper support is ever needed, I’m happy to help connect you with appropriate care in your area.
Who is parent coaching for?
Parent consultation is for parents and caregivers of children ages 0–5 who want practical guidance, emotional support, and confidence in navigating the early years. It’s especially helpful for families who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to respond to big emotions, behavior challenges, or daily routines - and who want support without needing a diagnosis or long-term therapy.
What kinds of concerns can coaching help with?
- Tantrums & big feeling moments
- Daily routines (morning, bedtime, mealtimes)
- Transitions
- Reducing parenting stress & overwhelm
- Power struggles & limit-setting
- Behaviors (hitting, biting, throwing)
- Supporting early emotional regulation skills
- Improving cooperation
- Navigating different parenting styles with a partner
- Feeling unsure what’s “normal” vs when to seek support
- and so many more :)
