About Me
I was inspired to become an OT by the therapist who came to our home to work with my youngest brother who has cerebral palsy and global developmental delays. I graduated Touro College in January 2016 and I was the first in my class to pass the National Board Certification of Occupational Therapy.
My first job as an OT was working with children in schools and then I started working with babies through Early Intervention. My interest in feeding therapy peaked when I noted how mealtime struggles were so common and widespread across cultures and socioeconomic levels. Over the years I worked with hundreds of kids and noticed that their challenges with food impacted every area of their development.
In May 2019 I took the Sequential Oral Sensory feeding training and I knew I had found my specialty. Following that course I read many books and took more continuing education classes to learn everything I could about feeding kids and how kids learn to eat well. Finding my niche led me to realize that I need to do what I love and since starting my parent coaching practice, I love what I do. I am passionate about empowering parents so they can create joyful mealtime memories with their families.
