About Me
Hi, I'm Emma! I'm a certified nutrition coach through ISSA, and I'm passionate about helping people simplify food in a way that feels nourishing, realistic, and sustainable. Before anything else, I'm a Christian / daughter of the King. My faith shapes how I approach health, food, and caring for others, with grace, and individuality at the center.
My relationship with food hasn't always been easy. I've lived most of my life with IBS, alongside periods of disordered eating. Over time I learned what truly supported my body, and what didn't. Today I keep structure around my eating because I feel my absolute best when I do.
I'm also a runner and an athlete at heart. I started running in college, took a long break, and found my way back to it through the trails of Northern California - along with an incredible community of runners who keep me motivated. Since returning, I've run three marathons, starting with my first in March 2026 (three marathons in under six months is no small feat!). As much as I love the sport, it's taught me that rest and good, solid fuel are just as important as the miles themselves. Running has shaped how I think about nourishing my body - not just for everyday life, but for performance. Stay tuned for upcoming guides focused on sports nutrition and fueling for athletes.
With all that said, my hope is that these guides help you simplify eating, feel more confident in the kitchen, and, most importantly, enjoy good food and feel your best.
