Dr. John W. Edmerson, DMin, is a preacher, biblical expositor, educator, and curriculum developer whose ministry in the Churches of Christ spans more than fifty years. He is among a generation of African American ministers who bring together serious biblical engagement, sustained pastoral presence in urban communities, and the discipline of a career educator.

A Doctor of Ministry graduate of United Theological Seminary in Trotwood, Ohio, Dr. Edmerson has devoted his ministry to the exposition of Scripture and its application to the lives of everyday believers. He has served as an elder, evangelist, Bible class teacher, board-certified chaplain, high school teacher, and assistant principal.
