Welcome to Edwina by Adrienne ๐ธ๐ผ
Practical guides for dreamers who are finally ready to make their move.
I am Adrienne โ an American living in Paris on a French long-stay visa, which I navigated completely on my own without a lawyer or immigration consultant. What I learned along the way became the guide you will find in this store.
Everything I publish here is written from real lived experience โ not recycled information, not theoretical advice, but the honest, practical roadmap I wish I had when I was sitting at my kitchen table surrounded by paperwork and seventeen browser tabs.

๏ปฟThe Story Behind Edwina by Adrienne
Edwina is a name that came to me in a dream.
For years I did not know what it meant or why it stayed with me. I filed it away the way you file away the things that feel significant but unexplained โ with quiet curiosity and the sense that one day it would make sense.
Then I retired. And I did something I had been dreaming about since my twenties.
I moved to Paris.
I packed up my life in the United States, navigated the entire French long-stay visa process completely on my own โ no lawyer, no consultant, no hand-holding โ and got on a plane. Alone. With a suitcase, a stubborn refusal to give up on my dream, and apparently, a name I had been given years before I understood what it was for.
Standing in my Paris apartment for the first time, looking out at the city I had always imagined living in, it finally made sense.
Edwina was always pointing me here.
This brand โ Edwina by Adrienne โ exists because of everything I learned along the way. The visa paperwork that felt impossible until it didn't. The grey November skies that nobody warned me about. The moment I walked into my local shop and said Merci instead of Bonjour and the whole counter burst out laughing. The morning I walked past the Eiffel Tower on an ordinary Tuesday and thought โ I live here. This is just my life now.
Through travel guides, expat resources, botanical prints, and cinematic Paris Shorts, I share the practical, the beautiful, and the brutally honest reality of building a dream life in France.
Because if I can do it โ and I can promise you I am a perfectly ordinary person who simply refused to stop dreaming โ so can you.
