Egor Nekrasov is a punk rock musician, a survivor of the hospitality machine, and a writer of visceral, transgressive fiction.
After seven years of drifting through the bar scenes of Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America, he eventually traded the shaker for the pen. Now based in São Paulo, Brazil, Egor writes about the dirt beneath the neon and the jagged lives of those who inhabit the world’s margins.
His prose is a product of the high-pressure, drug-fueled, and often brutal reality of the service industry—a raw, unapologetic look at the cost of the party that never ends.
LIVESTOCK is his first strike.
About the Press
Pigeons & Marginals is a tiny DIY publishing house founded by immigrant artists from Russia in 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil. These people are not just travelers — they are real modern nomads, without the “digital” prefix.
As Pigeons & Marginals themselves put it, they are not exactly a publishing house in the orthodox sense of the word, but rather an alliance built around a shared spirit and common interests.
During the first year of the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine in 2022, the people behind Pigeons & Marginals opened their café Grão in Istanbul. It became a gathering place for people fleeing the war, and around it a so-called Slavic diaspora began to form — a space where newly arrived people could find help, connections, and support.
In 2024, Pigeons & Marginals opened the vintage clothing store Chinaski in Mexico City. Just like during the Grão café days, a strong community of international artists quickly formed around the space.
Today, Pigeons & Marginals are partially based in Brazil, Mexico, and France, working on different projects: documenting the stories of modern nomads, leading yoga practices, and creating anti-war paintings.
