I’m Elaine Hall, an Irish artist, teacher and creator based in Co. Wicklow.

I paint from the places, colours and everyday moments that catch my attention. My work is about energy, atmosphere and the freedom to respond to what I see rather than trying to make everything perfect.

I love bold colour, expressive marks and paintings that still feel like they were made by a real person, rather than produced to fit a formula.

Alongside my own painting practice, I teach art and create resources for artists who want to develop their confidence, loosen up and enjoy the process of making art.

I’m also the creator of The Unruly Palette, a project built around colour, creativity and giving yourself permission to make art your own way.

This Payhip shop is where I’ll bring together my art resources, creative products and things I’ve made to help other artists enjoy their own creative practice.
