I started writing when I was a girl, and I imagine there are notebooks full of half-finished projects somewhere in my parents’ house. I shudder to think of what’s inside them! For me, writing is like therapy. Seeing words come together on a page to form a cohesive, memorable message that resonates with someone is one of the best feelings out there.

My love of stories carried me through a university degree with a primary focus on Bible and Theology (because the Bible is nothing if not a story first). Along the way, I added a minor in English (to keep the stories and words flowing) and another one in psychology (to feed my love of understanding the complexities of the human condition).

Then life happened. The stories hovered in my head, never quite making it to the page as I focused on living my own story. It took a pandemic and worldwide quarantine to bring me back to my love of storytelling, and here we are.

I live in the Pacific Northwest United States with my husband and two awesome kids.
