Welcome!
My name is Elly and I’ve worked in graphic design since I graduated college in 2006. During the Covid lockdown I was contracted to make SVGs for an Etsy shop. The contract has long since ended, but I found I quite enjoy making SVGs so have created my own shop here. I also do more traditional art, mainly ink illustrations, and will offer those here as well. Please take a moment to read through my FAQs and let me know if you have any questions.

I offer 3 distinct item categories:
SVGs are for crafters working with vinyl cutters like Cricut and Silhouette. I keep to one-cut designs that are perfect for beginners. These are for limited commercial use.
Ink illustrations are high quality jpegs of my traditional art that can be printed at home, your local library, or with a print service. It’s just my b&w art as I’ve found even professional printers get the colors horribly off with my colored pieces. These are for personal use only (I include teachers in this as long as it’s not for a paid art class).
Originals are the only physical item I sell. They are shipped within the US in their own separate boxes to prevent damage to the frames. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity and my unending gratitude.

I like to support my fellow creatives as much as possible, but I do have some limitations to protect my art from theft and misuse.
Personal Use Only means you can print and use the file for yourself. This applies to my ink illustrations. Want to print and gift it to a relative or coworker? You’re all good! Want to use it as a coloring activity for your students? Go for it! Want to upload it to Zazzle and make a mousepad for your home office? Absolutely! As long as the final item is not sold in any way it’s a-okay.
Limited Commercial Use means you can use the file to make something and then sell that finished something (the quantity is up to you). You can use the design as a stencil to etch a coaster or glass, iron the design onto a shirt, or use it as an embroidery template. Just remember that reselling the files themselves is strictly prohibited.
License Agreement Needed means you need to contact me and set up a formal contract. This applies to art prints of my illustrations, vinyl stickers, and sublimation sheets. It’s actually a quick, easy process and ensures everyone gets paid for their work.

Many of these designs were available on an Etsy shop my client ran during the Covid lockdown so there’s likely residual evidence online showing old watermarked images from their shop (they changed their shop name three times so that also doesn’t help). The designs have always been available for commercial use as well so there’s likely a number of businesses using the designs for various items. However, if you see a shop selling the files themselves please let me know so I can launch my legal team at them.

Sadly, my health has made set deadline work a thing of the past. I’m happy to consider requests as long as they aren’t copyrighted characters, etc.

Physical prints and stickers require a ‘retail inventory’. My state requires special licenses and taxes such sales which is a headache I’m not equipped to deal with.
If you’d like to sell physical prints of my art, vinyl stickers, or sublimation sheets please contact me and we can discuss a licensing agreement.

While I’m generally not very social, I do have Instagram. If you have colored one of my illustrations, made something with my SVG files, or bought an original please tag/mention @creative_purrsuits so I can see and share your post. You can also message me there if you want to share the photos more privately (it took me years to have enough confidence to share my art publicly so I get it).
