Hi,

I'm Urška, an author from Slovenia and a mother of four children. They all love stories, which inspired me to create stories of my own.

My first picture book, The Little Tree in the Shadow, was inspired by the idea that growth isn't always visible—and that some of the strongest roots grow in difficult places.

I hope this story brings warmth, encouragement, and meaningful conversations to the families who read it.
