About the Author
Esonasihle Mbixane is an author, educator, and entrepreneur from South Africa. She is a single mother of three and a high school teacher with academic training in Management, Information Systems, and Education from Rhodes University. She also pursued postgraduate business studies at North-West University.
Her debut book, Still Here, is a deeply personal memoir that explores survival, faith, and resilience through the lens of a woman navigating life’s most difficult seasons. Esonasihle writes with honesty and compassion, offering readers a voice they can recognize and a story they can relate to.
Her work is driven by a desire to encourage women who feel overwhelmed, unseen, or alone, reminding them that survival is not weakness and that staying is sometimes the bravest choice.
Esonasihle also serves as the director of a marketing company and is passionate about using storytelling as a tool for healing, connection, and empowerment.
