I'm twenty-six. I live in Hialeah. I work in a small Cuban restaurant six days a week. On Sundays I write.

Fool's Gold is my first novel. It's the story I couldn't tell out loud, so I told it on the page — about the year I lost everything, and the year that came after.

It's fiction. The names have been changed. The shape of it is true.
