About Heidi

Hello, I’m Heidi Messman Bobbitt—author of Faith Beyond the Diagnosis, wife, mother, grandmother, cancer survivor, and founder of Heidi’s Haven of Hope.

My life changed when I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. In the uncertainty that followed, I leaned deeply into my faith, prayer, and the love of my husband, Jeff, my family, and the many people who supported me. I made deeply personal decisions about my medical care and pursued the path I believed God was guiding me to take.

I wrote this memoir to share my experience honestly—not as medical advice or a promise that another person’s journey will look like mine, but as a testimony of faith, perseverance, personal choice, and hope.

My cancer journey changed what I value and how I want to spend my life. It inspired me to create Heidi’s Haven of Hope, a nonprofit with a mission to offer peaceful reprieve stays and compassionate support to people navigating cancer and those walking beside them.

My prayer is that my story reminds you that even in life’s most frightening and uncertain seasons, you are not alone—and hope can still lead you toward a greater purpose.

Cancer became part of my story. Hope became my calling.
