Book 1 of The Meido Chronicles

Follow Jessica, a nurse, dedicated to her patients and her younger brother, but dissatisfied with life in this suspenseful-romance. Death seems to be nowhere and people aren't dying like they should. Young people have answered the call to become medical professionals; exchanging their youth to serve the perpetual living. Jessica feels that the life and career she has always wanted is beyond her reach, until a young man shows up at the home of her client. He looks awfully familiar to the family's long-lost son who disappeared seventy-years ago, but he is Jessica's age. Who is this dashing young man and where has death gone? Are the two related? Jessica learns the truth as she falls head over heels for this young stranger and into the Sanzu river, where on The Meido path, she discovers more than she ever expected.
