In 2019, I moved into Accounts Receivable (AR) work. AR specialists are responsible for ensuring insurance companies pay what they owe, determining patient responsibility, and resolving payment issues. This role has shown me firsthand how often insurance companies fall short, and how critical it is to understand your rights and options.
