About Sandra
Hi, I’m Sandra Buchanan, and I’m thrilled you’re here taking steps toward feeling stronger, more confident, and more capable in your body—no matter your age.
I hold a degree in Rehabilitation Medicine in Occupational Therapy and spent 20 years working as an Occupational Therapist, helping people regain strength, mobility, and independence. Those decades taught me how the body changes over time, what truly supports long-term function, and how to design movement strategies that are safe, effective, and sustainable.
Today, I’m a Certified Personal Trainer, with additional certifications in weight training, mat Pilates, and Osteofit, a specialized program for maintaining bone health and preventing falls. I bring all of this experience into my work helping adults over 50 build strength, improve balance, and stay active for life.
I’m also a lifelong exerciser and proudly over 50 myself, so I understand firsthand the challenges and the possibilities of midlife fitness. My mission is to help you feel empowered—not intimidated—by strength training, and to show that it’s never too late to improve your fitness, your energy, and your overall wellness.
