La galette des rois (Kings' cake)

La galette des rois est mangée en France pendant tout le mois de janvier. C’est une tradition d’origine romaine, puis les Chrétiens l’ont adoptée pour fêter l’Épiphanie, la venue des trois Rois mages. C’est le 6 janvier cette année.


The kings’ cake is eaten in France during the entire month of January. It is a tradition of Roman origin, then the Christians adopted it to celebrate Epiphany, the coming of the three Wise Men. It’s on January 6th this year.
