About Me
MEET THE AUTHOR ❤️
Tacarlra “Cara” Miller Oliver is a Louisiana mother of five, entrepreneur, financial and credit consultant, private-care provider, and now published author.
But behind every title is a woman who had to rebuild her life more than once.
Cara’s story is one of motherhood, devastating loss, financial hardship, difficult relationships, faith, entrepreneurship, and the determination to keep going when life gave her every reason to stop.
After experiencing the unimaginable loss of her mother and thirteen-year-old brother, Cara learned that surviving was only the beginning. She began rebuilding—not only for herself, but for the five daughters watching her turn pain into purpose.
Her journey eventually inspired Foundation First: Everything I Survived, Everything I Built, a deeply personal memoir about grief, healing, resilience, motherhood, and creating a legacy from the pieces life left behind.
Today, Cara continues building businesses, helping others strengthen their financial foundations, raising her daughters, and creating the life she once had to fight just to imagine. Her message is simple:
Your past can be part of your story without becoming the ending.
This is more than her first book. This is her story. Her healing. Her legacy. ❤️
