Cooking Classes with Nina

Hi,

My name is Nina. For nearly 30 years, my family operated the Gasthaus German Restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky. We served authentic German food, desserts, beer and wine in a cozy ambiance.

After my parents retired and we closed the restaurant in 2022, many of you encouraged us to make a cookbook. I’m happy to share that it’s finally ready. Inside, you’ll find 80 recipes, color photos, and stories from our family and restaurant.

I’m also excited to offer cooking classes, either in group settings or for private events. You can learn to make dishes like Strawberry Napoleon, homemade egg noodles, and much more.

Enjoy learning about German recipes and traditions in the comfort of your own kitchen with a cooking class.

Nina will show you and your friends how to create some of Gasthaus' most popular dishes and beyond. With simple techniques and hands-on help we will create German food to enjoy together.
