I started adopting WFPB way of eating due to some health issues in 2015 - 2016 with a focus on RAW foods which improved my energy and overall health and well being. For the past 4 years, I have been caring for my mum.

My mum was diagnosed in 2014 with Linears lgA disease [auto immune] she was on many medications and was consuming the usual standard diet, processed sugars, high-fats, consuming lots of homemade cookies and cakes regularly.   

I spent many hours researching how I could treat her skin condition and I tried various eating plans to help with my mum's condition including autoimmune paleo, juice cleansing, some water fasting, low fat, RAW, lean mucus and plant-based with whole foods.  
Over time with her autoimmune disease, we are eating more RAW and WFPB and she started exercising and in the process lost 28 kilos.
