Karen, also known as Giggy the Grandmother, is a writer, teacher, and encourager currently living in Cape Coast, Ghana. She serves as Co-Director of Africaba Construction and Management Services alongside Emmanuel Okyem, and is the voice behind the YouTube channel Karen in Ghana, where she shares the good, the bad, and the [ugly] honest realities of life in Ghana.

As a mother of four, grandmother of sixteen, and great-grandmother of eight, Karen offers wisdom rooted in a rich and deeply lived life. Her warmth, honesty, and spiritual depth have made her a trusted source of guidance for many. She has a special gift for making people feel safe, seen, and loved while helping them find strength, clarity, and hope for their own journey.
