I’m Catelayah Gordon, a writer, poet, spiritual advisor, mother, and woman who had to learn the hard way that loving other people should never require abandoning yourself.

For years, I confused obedience with love and sacrifice with being a good woman. I said yes when my spirit was screaming no. I gave too much, forgave too quickly, and kept trying to prove my worth to family, men, jobs, and anybody else who benefited from me doubting myself.

Eventually, I realized I was never going to find myself inside somebody else’s approval.

Now I help women recognize the patterns that keep them depleted, reclaim their voices, and choose themselves without guilt. I do not teach perfection. I share the raw truth, practical tools, and hard earned wisdom that helped me save my own life.

I am spiritual, hood, educated, creative, soft, bold, and unapologetically all of it.

There is only one me, and I will never abandon her again.
