Hi, I’m Mike. Dad. Coach. Purple belt who still occasionally gets triangled by people half my size.


GrappleSNC was built from a simple truth: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is absolutely brutal on your body if you’re not physically prepared for it. After 7+ years on the mats, countless rounds, competitions, injuries, rehab cycles, and hard lessons, I realised most grapplers either ignore strength & conditioning or follow cookie-cutter plans that don’t actually translate to grappling. But this isn’t just coming from my time on the mats.


Off the mats, I’ve spent over 20 years training in gyms, competing in various sports, and coaching athletes. I hold a Level 4 qualification in Strength & Conditioning as well as a Level 4 certification in Exercise & Mental Health. I know that what happens inside your head is just as important as what happens inside your guard.


GrappleSNC combines real-world grappling experience with proper strength & conditioning knowledge to create simple, effective training designed specifically for grapplers. No fluff, no nonsense, no generic workouts pretending to be “functional.”
