Hello! My name is Maria Vakouftsi and I am the author of this e-book.

I have studied Classical Philology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, I have a MA in Strategic Management and I have been teaching Greek as a foreign language since 2015 to people around the world, in person and online.

I am the founder and owner of GREEK MY MIND, a Greek school based in Athens, Greece. We teach Greek online to students around the world and in person in Athens.

I wrote this book after my holidays in Kythnos island, Greece, when I felt inspired, so all the material and photos included are from my photo library.

My goal was to write a book with Real Greek Dialogues, using everyday life vocabulary, expressions and phrases, so that someone who wants to speak like a local has the chance to do it.
