Ms. Perry is a mother, educator, and entrepreneur whose life’s work is rooted in purpose, service, and impact. With a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K–6), a Master of Science in Reading (K–12), and an Education Specialist degree in Early Childhood Education, she brings deep academic expertise and lived experience to every space she serves.

Ms. Perry is dedicated to developing young minds academically, socially, and emotionally by empowering parents, engaging families, and involving communities. She is driven by a commitment to bridge the gap between school and home, ensuring that learning does not stop at the classroom door. Through high-quality literacy, STEM education—including her signature Color Me STEM initiative, along with educational and life-skills programs, she nurtures the whole child while strengthening the entire family unit.

Her mission is bold and intentional: to close academic achievement gaps, reduce the digital divide, and disrupt the school-to-prison pipeline. Ms. Perry accomplishes this by offering innovative, research-based, standards-aligned, and culturally competent practices that support families from Pre-K through Kindergarten, a critical window for long-term success. Through literacy intervention, STEM enrichment, and meaningful family engagement, she works to break cycles of illiteracy, inequity, and justice-system involvement before they begin.

In partnership with schools, community organizations, and local stakeholders, Ms. Perry strives to open doors of opportunity for all children and families, helping to build a stronger, more equitable Gainesville where every child is seen, supported, and prepared for lifelong success.

At the core of her work is a three-brand ecosystem designed to serve families holistically:

• Growing Young Minds Inc focuses on empowerment, family engagement, and community involvement.
• Color Me STEM promotes access, belonging, and representation in STEM spaces.
• Green Thumb Learning LLC delivers programs, children’s books, educational resources, and hands-on learning kits that are affordable, culturally relevant, age-appropriate, reading-based, standards-aligned, and FAST test–aligned.
