About Me

Lawreen Yakkel is a film industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience across film, television, and live theater. She has worked as a producer, line producer, and production manager on dozens of projects, including the cult hit Willy’s Wonderland starring Nicolas Cage, Bandit starring Mel Gibson and Josh Duhamel, and The Accursed starring Mena Suvari and Meg Foster.

Her recent credits include co-producing the western A Place of Bones starring Heather Graham and the horror feature Pig Hill starring Rainey Qualley, marking her fifth collaboration with director Kevin Lewis. She has also production managed and line produced projects for Warner Bros., HBO/Cinemax, TV One, and SYFY, with credits including Otis, Alien Raiders, Chemistry, White Water, Starve, and The Show, which premiered at SXSW.

In addition to her screen work, Lawreen has produced stage projects in Los Angeles, New York City, and Telluride, and she continues to teach film production at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena.
