**About Grissom Music Group**

Grissom Music Group is the independent music project of Mark Douglas Grissom, a 100% Permanent and Total service-connected disabled veteran.

What began as a personal creative outlet under significant physical limitation has grown into a published catalog of roughly **400 original songs**. About **200** of those tracks are sports-fan hype songs written specifically for individual teams across:

- FBS / college football 

- NBA 

- WNBA 

The catalog is expanding toward the **NFL, MLB, MLS, NWSL, NHL**, and other sports.

**How the Music Is Made**

I am open with fans about the process:

- I write the songs 

- I use AI for vocals and melody as a production tool 

The creative direction, lyrics, structure, team research, revisions, and final choices are human. AI helps me produce the audio because of my service-connected disabilities. I do not hide that. Fans deserve honesty.

**Our Commitment**

From the start of this project, the promise was simple:

> Every sports fan deserves a song as strong, specific, and proud as any other team’s.

That means no generic templates and no second-class tracks for smaller schools. Whether the team is a major program or a local high school, the standard is the same. Based on fan requests and feedback, songs have been rewritten, remixed, and refined. Ringtones are now being created the same way — built from published songs and shaped by what fans actually want.

**What This Store Offers**

This store focuses on **ringtones** from the published Grissom Music Group catalog, including team-specific sports hype tracks and other original works. Each ringtone is offered so fans can carry their team’s sound into everyday life.

**Advocacy**

I advocate for:

- Veterans and their families 

- Songwriters who are targeted for using AI, while the traditional industry remains heavily dependent on technology and increasingly on AI in studio production, often without equal transparency 

- Songwriters and fans having a real choice outside what large corporations demand we buy, like, and listen to 

Music should not exist only to concentrate power and profit in a few corporate hands. Fans and independent creators deserve fair access, honest labeling, and the freedom to support the music they actually want.
