I'm Susanne Rice, a registered childminder based in Lincolnshire, England, with nearly two decades of experience working with children and families. I hold a Master of Education (MEd) and a Master of Research (MRes), and I'm the founder of Growing Curious Children, a curriculum and assessment framework for early years settings.

Grounded Parenting grew out of that work and the conversations I've had with parents over the years at handovers, in meetings, and in all the ordinary moments in between. Parents who care deeply, who are doing their best, and who sometimes just need someone to help them make sense of what they're seeing in their child.

My guides are research-informed, written in plain language, and offered without judgment. They're grounded in developmental psychology, attachment theory, and real early years practice, and in the belief that connection matters more than perfection.
