Carole Foster is my name and gumbo is my game! I created MEE-MA's Louisiana GUMBO BRICKS in 2007. I appeared on a "reality" show for entrepreneurs in 2013 and I won... sort of!
I have an AMAZING daughter who is my pride and joy!
GUMBO BRICKS are homestyle gumbo preparations that were more than 100 years in the making. My grandmother, born in 1905, was an AWESOME cook who taught my mom to be an AWESOME cook who taught all seven of us to appreciate good food. My family is from Compton, California by way of Kansas City and Texas.
I love being near bodies of water. I appreciate old stuff that needs restoration. And I consider myself a pretty dynamic woman... in my own little neurotic way!
