Sydni Brown was a fun-loving girl with a smile that would light up the room. In 2018, at the age of 9, Sydni was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer called Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma 

(pronounced Al-vee-oh-ler Rab-doe-my-oh-sar-coma). After a strong and courageous fight, Sydni’s two-and-a-half-year battle ended as she passed away in September of 2020.

Sydni Smiles is a nonprofit organization that was created by Sydni’s parents, Nathan & Darci Brown, in April of 2021 in honor of Sydni as a way for her legacy of positivity, strength, and perseverance to live on. Through Sydni Smiles, it is their mission to raise awareness for childhood cancer, increase funding for childhood cancer research, and provide support to families affected by childhood cancer.
