All of my teachers were films, they possess some absolute gems of wisdom, one particularly apt pearl, for me anyway, is from Jurassic Park..... "Creation is an act of will". I would call myself a storyteller first and filmmaker second, in fact the filmmaking is just the tool with which to tell the story, but because its an enjoyable and satisfaction inducing format, I would choose film over other methods of telling a story and I love being an independent filmmaker I believe that the best films are the ones that simply hold up a mirror to society, make no judgments but simply let the viewer choose what to take away from the film.
