Hi, I'm Hayat.

It took half a century of life to understand that beauty and bitterness are woven from the same thread. For years, I believed every trial meant God didn't love me — that the harder I tried to draw closer to Him, the more pain would follow. I never understood that the very pain I feared was pushing me, gently, toward myself: toward the strength, the gifts, and the talents I had buried the moment I misread God's messages to me.

Trials don't break you. They build you — the way iron is forged in fire until it becomes too strong to break.

So I stopped asking, "Why doesn't God love me?" every time hardship crossed my path. I started asking instead: "What does God want from me through this?" And instead of searching for the answer in everything around me, I began searching within.
