About Me – Hayet Douis

I am Hayet Douis, a human sciences researcher, author, content creator, and digital humanitarian campaign advocate. I believe that every human being carries within them a powerful capacity for change and growth when they are given the awareness, knowledge, and space needed to discover themselves.

My journey began with a deep interest in the human being, the inner world, the way we think and feel, and our relationship with ourselves and with others. Over the years, this journey expanded to include writing, human behavior, consciousness, faith, spirituality, and personal growth. Writing therefore became more than a form of expression for me; it became a way to share ideas, experiences, and stories that may reach someone who is searching for meaning, clarity, or a new beginning.

Alongside my creative work and writing, my journey developed into a humanitarian and social path through my participation in digital campaigns and initiatives connected to humanitarian action and sustainable development. I have participated in digital campaigns and initiatives with organizations and entities within the United Nations system, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Volunteers (UNV), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the World Health Organization (WHO). I am currently continuing this journey through my involvement with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in initiatives and campaigns related to humanitarian and development issues.

These experiences have given me a broader perspective on what it means to work for and with people. They have also strengthened my belief that impact does not always have to begin with an official position or a large institution. Sometimes, it can begin with a word, a story, an idea, or a campaign that reaches someone far away and gives them hope, knowledge, or the motivation to create change.

Writing remains one of the most important spaces in my journey. I write about subjects where the human mind and emotions meet consciousness, spirituality, faith, and life. I also write stories and novels that explore human, intellectual, and imaginative dimensions. Through my books, I seek to encourage reflection, raise meaningful questions, and share ideas that may accompany readers on their own personal journeys.

On this website, I have brought together different parts of this journey in one space. I believe that every person has their own unique journey. I therefore do not present myself as someone who has all the answers. Instead, I share what I have learned, written, and discovered throughout my own path, while creating a space for meaningful dialogue and human connection based on awareness and respect.

أنا حياة دويس، باحثة في العلوم الإنسانية، كاتبة، وصانعة محتوى وناشطة في الحملات الإنسانية الرقمية، أؤمن بأن الإنسان يحمل في داخله قدرة كبيرة على التغيير والنمو عندما يجد الوعي والمعرفة والمساحة المناسبة لاكتشاف ذاته.

بدأ مساري باهتمام عميق بالإنسان، وعالمه الداخلي، وطريقة تفكيره ومشاعره وعلاقته بذاته وبالآخرين. ومع مرور السنوات، اتسعت هذه الرحلة لتشمل الكتابة، دراسة السلوك الإنساني، الوعي، الإيمان، الجانب الروحي، والنمو الشخصي. ومن هنا أصبحت الكتابة بالنسبة لي أكثر من مجرد وسيلة للتعبير؛ أصبحت طريقة أشارك من خلالها الأفكار والتجارب والقصص التي قد تلامس شخصاً يبحث عن معنى أو وضوح أو بداية جديدة.

إلى جانب الكتابة والعمل الإبداعي، أخذت رحلتي منحى إنسانياً ومجتمعياً من خلال مشاركتي في الحملات والمبادرات الرقمية المرتبطة بالعمل الإنساني والتنمية. شاركت في حملات ومبادرات رقمية مع جهات تابعة لمنظومة الأمم المتحدة، من بينها برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP)، ومتطوعو الأمم المتحدة (UNV)، والمفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين (UNHCR)، ومنظمة الصحة العالمية (WHO)، وأواصل حالياً مساري من خلال مشاركتي مع منظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة (FAO) في مبادرات وحملات مرتبطة بالقضايا الإنسانية والتنموية.

هذه التجارب منحتني منظوراً أوسع لمعنى العمل من أجل الإنسان، وأكدت لي أن التأثير لا يكون دائماً من خلال موقع رسمي أو مؤسسة كبيرة فقط؛ فقد تبدأ المساهمة من كلمة، أو قصة، أو فكرة، أو حملة تصل إلى شخص في مكان بعيد وتمنحه أملاً أو معرفة أو دافعاً للتغيير.

أما الكتابة، فهي المساحة التي أعود إليها دائماً. أكتب في موضوعات تتقاطع فيها النفس البشرية مع الوعي والروح والإيمان والحياة، كما أكتب القصص والروايات التي تحمل أبعاداً إنسانية وفكرية وخيالية. ومن خلال كتبي، أسعى إلى فتح أبواب للتأمل، وطرح أسئلة جديدة، وإيصال أفكار يمكن أن ترافق القارئ في رحلته الخاصة.
