About Me

I’m an education leader, inclusion consultant and parent advocate. Before moving into consultancy I worked as a primary headteacher, which gave me first-hand experience of what schools are balancing and, increasingly, of the children for whom traditional approaches were not working. Today I work across three connected areas: with schools on inclusion and leadership, with families as an independent advocate, and with alternative provision on quality and impact. One principle runs through all of it. Behaviour makes sense when we understand what sits underneath it, and inclusion means understanding what a child needs to have a genuine opportunity to succeed, not lowering what we expect of them.
