BT Tetherow is the creative team behind Heart City Highlands—a family story collective rooted in the rolling Sandhills of Nebraska.

Founded by a young rancher and entrepreneur alongside his parents and younger brother, Heart City Highlands was born directly out of their daily life on a working cattle ranch. Their stories celebrate the real rhythm of rural life, where hard work, character, family unity, and faith are woven into every ordinary day.

Their debut children’s picture book, Rosie’s Ranch Rescue, reflects their shared passion for heartland heritage, hands-on agriculture, and helping young readers build a strong sense of identity and purpose. Through heartwarming stories and real-life ranch animals, the Tetherow family creates gentle, uplifting books designed to be cherished by families and passed down through generations.
