Why Commission?
Commissions are an invitation for us to create together. Whether you’re drawn to a specific form, color, or vibe, this process allows your vision and my hands in clay to meet in a thoughtful, intentional way.
Each piece is handmade from start to finish — shaped, glazed, and fired with care. Because of this, no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Subtle variations in shape, texture, and glaze are not only expected, but celebrated.
What's the Process?
STEP 1: Submit the Commission Form
Share your ideas by selecting a form, size, color family, and overall theme or vibe. You’ll also have the option to add special details like carved texture, patterns, or gold-colored accents.
STEP 2: Review & Confirmation
I’ll review your request and follow up via email with final pricing, next steps, and an estimated timeline based on your selections.
STEP 3: Deposit & Creation
A 50% deposit of the final price is required to begin work on your piece. Once payment is received, your commission will move into production.
Completion & Delivery
When your piece is complete, you’ll be notified to arrange pickup in Oak Park or shipping (shipping fees apply).
