My name is Kalia Anderson, and I am a daughter,a sister, and an author who believes that even through life’s hardest moments, there is still a reason to keep going. After experiencing the heartbreaking loss of my mother, I found myself learning how to navigate grief, healing, love, and life in ways I never expected. Writing became one of the ways I could express the emotions I struggled to put into words and keep my mother’s love and legacy alive. My first book, Her Love Made Me, Her Legacy Guides Me, I’m Still Here, is a deeply personal story of love, loss, resilience, and learning to live again. Through my writing, I hope to remind anyone who has experienced loss that they are not alone, that healing does not have to look perfect, and that it is possible to carry the love of someone you lost while continuing to create a life of your own.
